Deepak Sharma, Partner Simon-Kucher
Deepak Sharma is a Partner in Simon-Kucher's Software, Internet and Media division in Silicon Valley. With over 17 years of consulting and industry experience, Deepak specializes in advising technology companies. He has in-depth experience in software, internet, semiconductors and electronics and has worked with venture-funded startups as well as established global leaders. Deepak’s focus areas include price strategy and optimization, product portfolio design, competitive positioning, pricing governance and advanced pricing systems. Prior to Simon-Kucher, Deepak worked at Ariba, now an SAP company. As the solution manager for Ariba’s SaaS platform, he was responsible for driving the product roadmap and go-to-market activities. Deepak started his career at i2 Technologies, where he worked in a variety of product management and professional services roles. Deepak holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley, a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai, India.
